Ratha Tep   Bio   Writing

Ratha Tep is a frequent contributor to The New York Times. Her work has also appeared in print and online for publications such as The Wall Street Journal, T: The New York Times Style Magazine, Food & Wine, Travel + Leisure, Afar, Budget Travel, Furthermore, and Salon.

Before moving to Europe, Ratha lived in New York City, where she was an editor at Food & Wine magazine, and wrote a weekly investment column for Forbes.com. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with degrees in English and in Economics.

For four years, she and her husband lived in Switzerland, nestled in between a sheep pasture and Lake Zurich. They are currently settled in Dublin with their two children.
